Finest Yarns
We responsibly source the finest yarns that modern times allow. From Australian Merino Wool, Brazilian Alpaca Wool, Tibetan Mohair to Nepali Hemp, Bengali Jute and Chinese Silk.
All our wool is Woolmark certified, meaning our clients can rest easy knowing that they receive the best. As for our other materials, we follow strict Indian standards to maintain and ensure quality.
Locally Dyed
Most of our yarns are spun in village homes and dyed by independent craftspeople. Dyeing for custom rugs is done in small batches so we can closely control the color and it can be exactly matched to client specifications. Collaborating with local dyers allows us to provide work to our community directly. These dyers are expert craftspeople and can recognize even the most minimal shade differences.
Award-Winning Weaving
Our rugs are woven with expert craftsmanship using techniques passed down through generations. Many of our artisans teach their partners this valuable skill. We now often see couples sitting across each other working on a rug. Our rugs have won multiple ELLE Deco Awards, and our work has also been recognized thrice by the Government of India.
Most our craftsmen are local, so the rug never leaves our immediate community during the entire process, we can closely monitor the weaving process and alter weaving speeds as and when required.
Masterfully Finished
Our team of rug finishers have been with us for over two decades now. They have perfected the art of understanding the clients’ visions and carry out instructions detailed to the thread. Our in-house craftspeople are by-far our biggest asset. All stages of the finishing process are directly supervised by in- house managers ensuring each rug goes through exhaustive quality checks before being packed.
