Material first design late
Rugs at MYS are designed from the ground up. Materials first, design after. We believe natural yarn is the original rug material. That’s why we have over 200 shades in just raw undyed natural wool. Undyed wool itself ranges in quality from Indian Rajasthani sheep to Australian Merino.
As for other materials and dyed wool colours, MYS boasts an extensive record of shades.
Library
Our material library consists of over hundreds of shades of a wide variety of fibres, organised according to shades and quality. It allows us to to have all materials in mind before deciding which one to implement. Wool, PET, Viscose, Silk, Jute and other natural fibre collections helps us boast of the one of the largest material libraries in Bhadohi. Our clients have the option to visit us in person and completely customize each material.
Pantone TCX
We understand the need of standardised colours across the industry. That’s why we keep an updated copy of Pantone’s TCX passport and colour trends handy. This allows our clients to quickly convey to us the shade they require without making the trip down to our showroom. Pantone’s wide acceptance across the design industry allows any new-to-rug clients slowly adapt to this industry with recognizable standards.
ARS
For our more seasoned clients, MYS keeps handy a record of past and present ARS wool shade boxes. ARS shades allow us to present our clients a rough idea of how any color looks on wool. Our expert dyers can take these wool colors and dye it on other natural and man-made yarns. We want to offer the option of complete customization in terms of color and ARS allows us to collaborate with designers across the globe.
